From April 2011 the current Data Capture Code list for use in the Street Works
Register and Street Works Noticing process can be downloaded from the NSG website.
An up-to-date file will be published each month on the same day as the NSG Publication.
This is scheduled for the second working day of each month.
Here is a list of the file types that are available for download:
SWA_ORG_yyyy-mm-dd.csv This is the standard file. It contains a complete list of users that have been allocated a Data Capture Code. (This file is in the same format as previously published on the DfT website.)
SWA_ORG_FULL_yyyy-mm-dd.csv This a complete file. It contains additional information, including 'Active' or 'Inactive' organisation and any further notes that the user may find useful.
SWA_ORG_TYPE_yyyy-mm-dd.csv This file contains Organisation Types.
Further information on the current Codes of Practice, including other codes lists
and documents on the Electronic Transfer of Notifications (EToN v5.0.1) can be
found at:

All downloads are recorded for monitoring.

closely with the Scottish Road Works Commissioner, to host the codes used in Scotland on this website,
alongside those used in England and Wales.
