The Knowledge Hub

The Knowledge Hub forms part of the new integrated online offer from the Local Government Association (LGA) and provides tools to help people connect, share and learn from each other. The latest technology and social networking models enable individuals to create connections to peers and experts in their fields of interest, helping them share learning, experiences and ideas, and drive sector self-regulation and improvement.

GeoPlace facilitates a number of Groups on the Knowledge Hub Platform including:

GeoPlace Authority Contacts Group

This group has been set up and is facilitated by GeoPlace LLP - a joint venture partnership owned by the Local Government Association and Ordnance Survey. This group is primarily for mutual support; sharing information and disseminating best practice about the creation and maintenance of Local Land and Property Gazetteers and the Local Street Gazetteers. Membership is restricted to GeoPlace Authority Contacts.

HAUC and NSG Communities Group

This community is for all members of the Highway Authorities and Utilities Committee (UK) [HAUC(UK)] and the NSG community to aid communication and knowledge sharing between the two communities.
